W zeszłą sobotę wybrałam się na wystawę Diane Arbus do Martin-Gropius-Bau. Polecam ją każdemu pasjonatowi fotografii! Zgromadzono na niej ponad 200 zdjęć artystki (i te znane fotografie, jak ta czy ta, ale także inne, niewystawiane wcześniej prace). Po obejrzeniu zdjęć można się było zapoznać z biografią Arbus, a także komentarzem krytyków na temat jej prac, dzięki małym kącikom czytelniczym z książkami na temat artystki. Świetna sprawa! Po obejrzeniu wystawy, będąc w okolicy, poszłam zobaczyć Topographie des Terrors, czyli ruiny pozostałe po dawnej siedzibie Gestapo i SS.

Last Saturday I visited Martin-Gropius-Bau to see Diane Arbus exhibition. It is really a must-see for every passionate photographer! It's really well prepared and interesting, because there are also photos that were never exhibited before and small corners for people who want to read what critics thought about her works. Then I went to visit Topographie des Terrors (which is an open air exhibition at the ruins of building used by Gestapo and SS). After that I admired from the ground a wonderful air balloon from which you can see Berlin from bird-eye perspective. :)
